Studio Ronald van der Heide creates drawings that work: to clarify, connect, and create change. Together, we visualize your story in a compelling illustration, explainer drawing, or animation.
Cartoonist Ronald van der Heide brings his unique creativity to life with a colorful and playful website that perfectly reflects his style. Together with designer Lisa Landesbergen, we developed a new website design that integrates Ronald’s own animations and illustrations directly into both the design and the build. The result is a platform that’s not only functional but also delivers a visual experience that truly engages visitors.
The website stands out through its colorful design composed of square and rectangular blocks with playfully uneven lines. Ronald also uses his own custom-designed typeface, which enhances the site’s recognizability and unique character. The different services—such as illustration and visual storytelling—are color-coded, creating a clear structure and making it easy for visitors to find what they’re looking for. Each service page showcases his full portfolio, which can be browsed effortlessly.
In addition to designing the website, we also helped Ronald migrate his email and hosting to a green hosting provider.

How the project was received
Go to website“Tes (Kleidi) helped me create a beautiful, well-functioning website. Right from the initial meeting, he contributed smart and thoughtful ideas and even tapped into his network to ensure the result fully matched my expectations. I admire the attention and calm he brings to the entire process, even when it comes to the smallest details. In short, a collaboration that felt natural and ran smoothly from start to finish.”
