Gluten-free bakery webshop De Gebaksjuwelier

De Gebaksjuwelier is a gluten-free bakery that caters to customers looking for delicious gluten-free products. They offer a wide range of cakes and pastries, as well as bread, cookies, and savory snacks — all with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

To meet the bakery’s specific requirements, we built a completely new webshop based on WooCommerce and WordPress. The webshop is not only visually appealing but also functionally optimized for an improved user experience. The client had several specific requests: for example, customers can place their order until Tuesday at 11:59 PM to receive their products that same week on Friday. Some products are available for pickup only. In both cases, customers can select a preferred date during checkout.

We developed unique custom solutions, such as automatically adjusting delivery options depending on the purchased products. Additionally, we successfully migrated the website and email to a new web host. To ensure efficient order processing, custom-made packing slips and invoices were designed that automatically display the pickup or delivery date, allowing the bakery team to sort orders quickly.

To streamline the shipping process, the webshop is integrated with MyParcel and PostNL, which automatically generate labels and send a track & trace code once the label has been scanned by the carrier.

Customers can easily filter for their favorite products and subscribe to the newsletter, which is integrated with Mailchimp. We also developed dedicated forms for reserving high tea or requesting custom wedding cakes, further enhancing user-friendliness.

Finally, we implemented a customer account area where users can log in to view their orders and invoices, among other things.
