For the Actieonderzoek Academy, a website or platform was needed for users to register. After registration, users gain access to the platform and all the content it contains. Among other features, a knowledge base has been created, and each member has their own profile with information and a photo.
The idea was to create a community in the field of action research, which involves improving practice (such as healthcare) through a combination of research and action. A timeline or activity page has been developed, and guest blogging is possible. All activities are displayed on the timeline, and users can comment on each other’s contributions. It is also possible to send personal messages to other members.
All these features and functionalities have been implemented within WordPress. This project was executed in collaboration with designer Andrea Fuchs and the organization Pluut & Partners. Icons were specifically developed for the Academy to match the desired appearance and design. Together, we have developed a new community platform.

Need a community platform or login functionality?
Within WordPress, a lot is possible. Features such as a login module, a complete community platform behind a closed environment, or even with a paywall are some of the options. You can also present it beautifully in a design that matches your product or service.
